Rita Lei, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for the oversight of AM General’s finance operations including accounting, financial planning and analysis, pricing, business operations/government compliance, treasury services, in addition to leading the Information Systems & Services (IS&S) team. She reports to AM General President and CEO, John Chadbourne, and collaborates closely with the executive management team to support the company’s strategic priorities and broad array of business matters.

Rita is a strategic executive with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Her strengths lie in building collaborative engaged teams, drive organizational effectiveness, and deliver business growth on a local and global scale. Most recently, Rita served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Sikorsky Aircraft (a Lockheed Martin Company), where she managed a diverse global portfolio across military, government, and commercial sectors in a highly structured environment.

Previously, she was the CFO of Paradigm Precision, a nimble global supplier to the aerospace, defense, and power generation industries (a Carlyle Group portfolio company). Rita built her foundational expertise during a distinguished 21-year tenure at United Technologies Corporation (now Raytheon Technologies), where she took on roles of increasing responsibilities including Executive Director and CFO of Engine & Environmental Control Systems at UTC Aerospace Systems, as well as Finance Director of Manufacturing Operations at Pratt & Whitney.

Rita holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
