With more than 25 years of experience spanning manufacturing, process engineering, product development, and operations, Chris Cogan brings deep technical expertise and proven leadership to his role as Senior Vice President of Engineering and Quality. In this capacity, he leads strategic planning and execution across technical processes, drives product innovation and continuous improvement, and oversees the quality systems and certifications that deliver first-time quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Chris has built expertise across aluminum and iron foundries, automotive powertrain machining and assembly, motorsports, and defense that have spanned five manufacturing sites including a three-year assignment at an international joint venture. His track record includes leading process development for a low-pressure aluminum casting program, serving as Design Release Engineer on the Chevrolet small block engine team. He also lead GM Motorsports’ propulsion systems operations including the start-up of a low-volume manufacturing site specializing in CNC machining, engine assembly, defense hardware fabrication, and battery assembly. Chris was also a founding member of the Cadillac Formula 1 team.

Chris holds an M.S. in Manufacturing Operations and a Certificate in Lean and Flexible Manufacturing from Kettering University, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from Kent State University. At Kent State, he was a four-year letterman in football and has been recognized with the Distinguished School of Technology Alumni Award from his alma mater. His technical contributions include six U.S. patents, three defensive publications, and a tool method trade secret.a.

Outside of work, Chris is an active automotive and motorsports enthusiast, involved in drag racing and restoring vintage vehicles and engines, including a personal M1045A2 HUMVEE.
