Shatiel Edwards serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Growth Officer at AM General. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, he leads the company’s enterprise growth strategy, strategic planning, portfolio optimization, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, investment governance, and prioritization of major growth opportunities.

Shatiel brings more than 28 years of defense industry and U.S. Army acquisition experience. Before joining AM General, he held senior leadership positions within the U.S. Army, directing major tactical vehicle and unmanned systems portfolios, including the Robotic Combat Vehicle, Small Multipurpose Equipment Transport, and Joint Light Tactical Vehicle programs. He also led the source-selection process for the $8.66 billion JLTV Follow-On contract.

Shatiel holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Michigan and is a member of the Army Acquisition Corps. His professional credentials include advanced certification in program management and practitioner certification in business, cost estimating, and financial management.
