Mobility Ventures, LLC is pleased to announce its attendance at the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) annual conference, Jan. 22–25, 2015 at the Moscone Center, San Francisco, Calif.; Booth 6822 on the 2nd level of the West Hall.

As the newest automobile manufacturer in the United States, Mobility Ventures is proud to showcase its revolutionary MV-1 – the only American-made, purpose-built, universally accessible vehicle that has the ability to accommodate two wheelchair users.

“Mobility Ventures’ participation in the NADA annual conference will allow dealers from around the country to come by our booth, see the revolutionary MV-1 vehicle and discuss new franchise opportunities that offer low cost of entry – no franchise fee and a rapidly growing customer base,” said John Walsh, Mobility Ventures Vice President for Sales and Marketing.

While other accessible vehicles are converted to accommodate ramps and wheelchairs, the MV-1 is designed specifically around those who use wheelchairs. With a built-in side-entry ramp, ample head room, and the ability to safely accommodate two wheelchair users at a time—one of whom rides in the front seat passenger position— the MV-1 is redefining accessible transportation options. With more than 100 dealerships in the MV-1 network in the United States and overseas, the MV-1 is expanding choice in transportation for families and taxi, livery and paratransit fleets. In fact, many U.S. cities are now requiring wheelchair accessible vehicles for taxi and livery, such as New York City, which passed a rule in 2014 mandating 50 percent of all taxis be wheelchair accessible.

Earlier this year, Mobility Ventures was honored to be listed the first ever “Wheelchair Accessible” vehicle in the ATD/NADA Official Commercial Truck Guide®. NADA’s code of ethics requires that members comply fully with all federal, state and local laws governing their businesses. To this end, the MV-1 remains the only vehicle that is both specifically made for passengers who use wheelchairs and passes the safety requirements that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has established for new passenger vehicles sold in the United States. The MV-1 continues to meet or exceed the federal safety and crash test standards currently in effect for new passenger vehicles with over 50 successful crash tests performed on the MV-1 to date.

Mobility Ventures’ MV-1 is dedicated to transporting all passengers, with or without mobility challenges, making it the perfect solution for both commercial fleets and consumer use.
