Building and supporting a mix of specialized vehicles is a team effort, leveraging AM General’s supplier network of 1,400 companies stretching across 43 American states. Our suppliers include major corporations, more than 1,000 small businesses, and hundreds of minority-owned, women-owned, military service-disabled, and other veteran-owned firms. AM General also works with the nation’s leading automotive research institutions – ranging from the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research Development and Engineering Center to The CARLAB and Southwest Research Institute. AM General’s Engineering and Development Center is ideally located in the Detroit suburbs to collaborate, evaluate, and incorporate the latest advances in automotive technologies and design.
New Supplier Application
AM General is always looking for supplier partners who can provide complementary commodities and demonstrate strong financial and competitive positioning, responsiveness, innovation, and product quality. AM General continues to generate new opportunities for suppliers with expertise in specific commodity areas – including technical innovations and emerging technologies.
