AM General Quality Management System Registration
AM General has achieved ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 registration from NSF International, an internationally recognized independent registrar company.
NSF evaluates a company’s ability to meet specific quality program standards. The ISO 9001 standard, one of a series adopted by the International Organization for Standardization in 1987, is internationally recognized and establishes the requirements for a company’s quality system. AM General has had registration to an ISO standard since 1993.

General Engine Products LLC Registration
General Engine Products LLC, a subsidiary of AM General, is currently registered to ISO9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 which are worldwide standards that apply within the automotive industry including specific requirements for General Motors, Ford and Chrysler. IATF 16949 requirements exceed those established in the ISO Standards and are required of all suppliers within the automotive industry. The scope of GEP ISO and IATF registrations encompass the assembly of diesel engines and transmissions.
NSF, a leading international registrar, certified GEP to ISO and IATF in September 2018. ISO and IATF registrations validate that a Quality Management System is implemented that improves overall quality, organizational performance, and profitability while reducing risk to interested parties, including customers and end users.
