The Humvee Ammunition Support Vehicle provides enhanced safety capability and functionality to soldiers supporting artillery units. It provides artillery crews improved seating and seat restraints, crush protection of 10,000 lbs., a flexible payload configuration, and its design simplicity allows for a small logistic footprint. The HUMVEE Ammunition Support vehicle provides a tactically deployable capability allowing combat forces to dominate maneuver and use position advantage to deliver fires in order to destroy the enemy's will to fight.
