4L80E Transmission & Electrical Systems Training: Direct/General Support Information
Course Description:
In this FM/SM Support Training, the student will be taught to diagnose, inspect, disassemble, clean, repair and test the General Motors model 4L80E Hydramatic transmission. The class will also discuss the Transmission Control Module, 12 VDC electrical system and externally mounted relays and sensors. Use of the Tech II (OBD 2) scan tool will also be taught. This training course is four days in length, eight hours per day. Class starts at 0730. The student to instructor ratio is 8:1. Books, training materials and equipment are provided.
