Alternator/Starter & Electrical Systems Training: Direct/General Support

Course Description:
This electrical system training course will teach the student how to troubleshoot, inspect, disassemble, clean, repair, assemble, and test HMMWV electrical components. Specific tasks include removal, disassembly, testing, repairing and reassembly of the alternator and starter. Students will also be taught to troubleshoot and repair lights, gages, wiring harnesses, and the glow plug system. This training course is three days in length, eight hours per day. Class starts at 0730. The student to instructor ratio is 8:1. Books, training materials and equipment are provided.
