Virginia Guard Uses Humvee to Help Citizen Meet Dialysis Appointment

The Norfolk, Virginia-based Company G, 429th Brigade Support Battalion, 116th Combat Team were plenty busy during the recent East Coast snow storms, using their Humvees to assist residents in need. One such case was assisting Fairfax County resident Olive Lewis, who could not get out for her kidney dialysis appointment. The Fairfax County Emergency Operations Center dispatched the Virginia National Guard to transport her. (Photos by Maj. Cotton Puryear, Virginia Guard Public Affairs)
